Top 11 areas to address when you write a Review or Testimonial

If you run a website which sells your products or services online, the above screenshot will give you an initial sense of where I am going with this post.

A testimonial is mainly used to remove anxiety or mistrust among potential customers. Anxiety in a customer is usually proportional to the price of the product. Usually it is one or many of the following:

1) Will this product or service meet my expectations ?

2) Is this product worth compared to other products in the market?

3) What if I dont like the product ? Can I return the product or service?

4) Can I trust the company selling the product or the service?

5) Is it better to deal with another company selling similar products or services?

6) Have others used this product and what are their experiences ?

7) Can I contact at least one person who has used the product or service?

8 ) How do I know the person who used the product is authentic ?

9) Are there related products which might provide me different features and might be cheaper?

10) Should I contact someone in the company to understand in detail what the product or service does?

11) Should I pay with my credit card?

The top 10 points can be addressed either directly on indirectly when you write a testimonial or a review. You dont have to address all of them in one testimonial (because it would go against the T.E.A.S.E formula) but you should address what your customers think are high anxiety points.

Point #11 is better handled through standard logos like BBB or with famous credit card processing companies like Paypal. And with stating that
